I see your failing heart, my heart flails with you. I know your skin is bleeding from all the pills you ate, I
cleaned the same vomit from my sheets. You've mopped my shiny brow and kissed my blood-stained
cheek. We laughed till we cried falling all over ourselves in the asylum gumming our required
dosage. I see the world through your cracked lenses and grin my crooked grin, willing to caress the shame
placed upon your head and sweep you from their dirty trash bin.
My mirror image haunts my dreams and wakeful starts; my wasted youth, those
rabid animals posing as a lover's embrace, and me looking upon my dreadful corpse, holding hands
with you in the darkening mist.
Come away with me, piggy-backing across this wasteland of love loss and grace. Our faded past
shall brighten our sparkling future as we drink from the clip clop of our fevered brains
and call it wonderland.
I am Jack's Broken Heart
